Mount Saint Vincent University

 Halifax, Nova Scotia

MSVU partnered with PIER to develop and print the cultural literacy books.  Additionally, Cornelia Schneider, a professor from this university provided training for teachers in how to make schools and classrooms openly accessible to children with learning problems.

Brain Spaces - Learning Expands the World

Brain Spaces coordinates with PIER to develop and support community learning projects on Roatan.  Current projects include the Brain Spaces Learning Center in the Sand Castle Library, the Cultural Literacy Series, & Stories in a Bag.  

Brain Spaces also links with  service groups from the US with PIER volunteer opportunities,  such as Nourish International and Culture2Culture Pals.
